{ Counting down.... }

I am counting down to TOMORROW! Woo Hoo!!!! I totally CAN imagine myself staying at home. Yes. I am very very excited. :) So excited until....

I have signed up for Yoga class and Cooking class at the nearby community centre. :)

Looking forward to domestication and... Malacca! Mr Lee told me he needs a break and so... we are going to do a short getaway sometime mid July. WooHoo!

{ recently... }

I haven been really busy at work. My tasks has been shared or reassigned to my other colleagues by now. How time flies, i have another week to go before im officially retiring from the coporate world.

This saturday, its going to be very exciting for me. Its my first attempt being an MC at a friend's wedding but im sure i will be able to make it given my "practice" of standing on stages during my secondary sch days.... Also, am looking forward to haggling for angbao at the brides place on sat morning. :)

Now I know why my husband always leaves me at home whether he goes out for business or social functions. That im doing a great job but do not have the qualities to show the world.

And so, here am im sitting at home wondering if i am really that fat.

{ My favorite part of the job }

My fav. part of the job. :)

Cant help but feel sad that my time here is so short lived.I have learned alot and grew up alot during these short 15 months. Hopefully, i might have a chance to apply what i have learnt at other places next time.... But for now, i am just counting down to my life as a housewife...

Hmmm... cooking, washing, cleaning, ironing... those are also alot of things to learn leh... how ah? :)

{ Roots }

Dont thinki have mention this before but im 1/4 Peranakan.

Dads father is born in China. At the age of 15, he left for Thailand before migrating down south to "Nanyang". My grandma is a Straits Born Chinese and is the Queens subject.

However, I didnt get to enjoy the culture and foods of the Babas as my paternal grandma passed away when i was 3 years old. But, my aunties somehow did manage to retain some of the traits so im still lucky to be able to taste ayam buakula, babi poteh, and the various coconuty desserts.
